Rev. Nina Barlow Schmid, MDiv. - Minister
Nina J. Schmid, M.Div, has been called as our settled Minister to the First Congregational Church of South Windsor, located at 993 Main Street, South Windsor, CT, founded by Timothy Edwards in 1694, father of Great Awakening theologian, Jonathan Edwards. Pastor Schmid is a 2015 graduate of Eden Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Her preparation for ministry also includes both hospital chaplaincy and congregational ministry, having served at St. Alexius Hospital, First Congregational Church of St. Louis, Christian Hospital and St. Peters Evangelical UCC, all in the St. Louis area. She also recently completed a chaplain residency at St. Francis Hospital/Trinity Health in Hartford, CT. Pastor Schmid traveled to Central America in 2013 with Eden seminary and International Partners in Mission on a spiritual and educational immersion trip. She was a lay leader for 16 years at Fishers Island Union Chapel, UCC, Fishers Island, NY, her sponsoring church.
Church Administrative Assistant: Carrie Morse
Carrie began working as the Church Administrative Assistant in August of 2019. Carrie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, a minor in Journalism, and a concentration in Public Relations from Central Connecticut State University. Carrie and her husband, Paul have 2 children and 2 dogs.
Organist and Choir Director: Kamilla Mammedova
Kamilla Mammedova has been the Choir Director and Organist for First Congregational Church since 2006. Born in Azerbaijan, she began her musical training at age 5. Since pursuing a career in piano performance, Kamilla has won many awards and scholarships. She has performed throughout Europe, including Italy, England, France Russia, her native Azerbaijan as well as in the U.S. as a solo and chamber ensemble. Kamilla made her solo debut recital at Carnegie Hall in 2006. She has a graduate degree with honors from both Azerbaijan Academy of Music and the Hartt School, University of Hartford. She is a member of the piano faculty in the Hartt Community Division and is an accompanist for the Vocal Studies Division of Hartt School. Kamilla brings her many musical talents to her position as choir director, organist and pianist.

Pastor Emeritus: Rev. Art Dunham
Rev. Art Dunham began his calling in ministry as pastor in 1952 in Wilmot, N.H., Groton and Rocky Hill, Ct. He has served churches in New Hampshire and Connecticut. After 26 years as the Pastor of First Congregational Church of South Windsor, he retired in 2000. Since retirement, he and his wife, Leona (Lee) served for 7 years as Annuitant Visitors for our United Church of Christ Pension Board. Art has also enjoyed an active pulpit supply and short term coverage ministry. He and Lee enjoy 4 children, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
